A design engineer's portfolio has one honest test: is the site itself a work sample? So this one is hand-built, and this page is the receipt.

Stack. Next.js (App Router) with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, deployed on Vercel. No component library, no CMS -- content lives in a typed TypeScript file, which for a site this size beats any admin panel.

Type and color. Geist and Geist Mono, a warm near-monochrome palette, and a single green accent that only means two things: availability and interactivity. Dark and light themes follow your system preference, with a manual override stored locally.

Motion.CSS only -- a staggered entrance, spring-ish easing on hovers, and nothing that moves if your system asks for reduced motion. The rule: motion demonstrates craft or it doesn't ship.

The demos.The Craft section rebuilds interfaces I've actually shipped -- a cohort skill tracker and a cross-filtering dashboard -- as working React components with recreated data. Screenshots ask you to trust me; code lets you check.

Protected work.A few case studies sit behind a lightweight client-side gate. The visuals are recreations, not confidential material, but defense and client work shouldn't be one search away. Email me for the password -- it's a quick yes.
